I don’t know her anymore or who she used to be
Got no feelings anyway, nothing left in me
This will be the first time, that I show you how
She don’t owe me anything, neither favours nor gifts
Changed my mind about everything, all feelings set adrift
I run my hand across her and feel the warmth she gives
One day I could not find her, she did not answer my call
I had been careless, she had gone out alone
I heard all the stories, and they turned me to stone.
Break...
You turn away, walk away, but I know where you will go
You hide your face, in the shade, but I have seen it before
Your violent deeds are not forgotten, your wanton needs are unfullfilled
I’ll write your name in the book of oblivion.
Keep it clean, gasoline, with a fever burning
Roll your wheels, draw your steels, let’s see them shining
Ride hard and go far with the pistons pumping
Smell the smoke, masterstroke, encased in oak
And all the losers keep track of the score
Bang the drums, draw your guns, watch the fools running
Ring the bell, peeping Tom, leave the lights running
Hear the howl of the Banshees in your mind
Spray my mouth, witness me and my silver smile
If you don’t live for something, you will die for nothing.
Now you know my name

Fantastic album from front to back! Incredibly catchy, fuzzy riffs, great songwriting and powerful lyricism.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
